Intel avstream camera 2500 driver download

Do you see both a red and a white LED when you boot your Surface? Was this reply helpful? Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback.

Another "fix" for similar but not identical issues is to uninstall and check the box to delete the driver for the 3 Intel Control Logic devices under system devices and reboot three times this should pull down the correct drivers from the Internet automatically.

I did this, disabling the front, rear and infrared cameras in the UEFI. I then restarted Windows, the startup said Windows could not turn on my camera and my camera was no longer located under devices - which makes sense. I then reentered UEFI and turned back on the front, rear and infrared cameras. When I restarted Windows 10, I received the message that Windows could not be turn on the camera. This time however the camera was back in my list of devices.

The camera LED's did not light at any point. Note that I have also checked my Norton security settings for my camera and I see no indication of an issue there. We don't know what Norton might do to impact camera functionality, but have seen issues before. Suggest you uninstall Norton completely using their removal tool and trouble shoot without Norton. Windows Defender will provide built in protection.

Deleting them is not dangerous and has fixed camera issues for others. All that happens is that Windows Update will automatically download needed drivers which is why you need some reboots. Threats include any threat of suicide, violence, or harm to another.

Removed a second time and now at least those are back. But camera is still not enabled. I uninstalled the 3 Intel Control Logic System Devices, to include deleting the drivers only an option for the first deleted Intel Control Logic - they must use the same set.

Unfortunately this did not restore camera functionality after three restarts, though the 3 Intel Control Logic System Devices were restored.

I then took the step that concerned me most and which I maybe should have done first - I uninstalled the camera. I was not sure the camera would be found again. I did not delete the camera drivers, as an internet search indicated there was no place where the drivers could otherwise be found is this correct?

When I restarted, Windows found the camera and Windows Hello recognized me. Welcome to the Intel Community. If you get an answer you like, please mark it as an Accepted Solution to help others.
